When sex motels have a group rate, is it a discount or a surcharge?

I'm inclined to think it's a surcharge.

Well, today was. . . absolutely normal.

Except that Erika and Sunil were dropping crazy hints about what Erika did this weekend--apparently she herself remembers not. Funkay.

Other than that, not much went on. NHS meeting. Showed Vega my play. He dug. I think. Vin liked the part of it he read, but that was just the scene with the jazz maestro named Vincenzo.

In a few weeks, I'm planning on going to a peace march. It departs from Hemisfair at noon on 15 Feb. So everyone should come to that, tell Bush he's being a fucktard with Iraq.

So I'm going to go do other stuff now. Good e'en.

Wow.

Golly. It's been almost two weeks. Crazy.

I've been busy. School starting up again is fun, as one might expect. So what have I been doing with my time?

Brittney. Been having a damn swell time. We've gone downtown, we've gone to Dave's, we've gotten our Stratford clothes (I'll describe them after the dance; don't want to spoil it),
Church. I've started going to Woodland BC with Brittney on Wednesday nights again. I missed Steve-o, Emily, Mike, Caroline, and everyone else--so I went back. It's now a regular thing.
Book. I've scheduled two readings soon to promote (and, more importantly, sell) my book. The first is Saturday, 1 Feb., at 15.30 at Espuma Coffee and Tea Emporium, 928 S. Alamo. The second is Wednesday, 5 March, at 20.00 at Barnes & Noble Fiesta Trails. Please, everybody come. I want an audience. I've been doing stuff for my book, like going to the weekly open-mic at Espuma. Which is cool by itself.
Writing. I've actually been doing this! Yay! I finished the first draught of a play for FireStarters (that makes three submissions again this year). It had been killing me, but the hard part is done; now comes all the fun.
Other stuff. I went to see Bryce play at the InnerCity Development Coffehouse. That was primo shit. Very inspirational; I'm now working on quite the major poem because of it.

Hm, what else happened in the last two weeks?

Oh yes--I got $28.5K from Chicago in financial aid, plus about $6K in estimated federal loans. Much better than playing the full $39.5K.

And Jeff randomly gave me his dragon necklace. . .
